Sauvour Vaughan - Dinner Menu at That's Italian

SavourVaughan & Beyond Restaurant Week is now bigger and better!
Introducing the newly expanded:

October 14th to November 7th, 2010

$35 Dinner Menu*
Each dinner guest will receive a $10 gift card to be redeemed at a future date

Appetizer (choice of)

• Polenta “fries” with goat cheese served with our in-house spicy garlic aioli

• Panko-crusted Eggplant Parmigiana stuffed with provolone cheese and topped with a smoked tomato cream sauce.

• Shrimp broth with jumbo, homemade shrimp and portobello ravioli

• Grilled Calamari ‘Salad’ with white beans and roasted vegetables with a preserved lemon and extra virgin olive oil dressing

Main (choice of)

• Pappardelle with Wild Boar Ragu. Traditional northern Italian dish of broad noodles with braised boar meat in a rich tomato sauce.

• Pan seared Chicken Supreme with sweet corn and peach puree served with oven-roasted tomato, potatoes and garlic green beens.

• Potato-crusted black cod served over a bed of slow-simmered lentil stew

• Balsamic-glazed pork chops served with a Tuscan bean & sausage ragù

Dessert (choice of)

• Moist Red Velvet Cake with cream cheese frosting*

• Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. Layers of creamy vanilla cheesecake, vanilla white chocolate mouse and rich whipped cream on a vanilla cookie crumb crust.*

• Pancetta-spiked lentil soup with squash ravioli
• Grilled portobello salad with goat cheese, roasted red peppers and toasted pine nuts with a creamy balsamic dressing

Main (choice of)

• Panko-crusted Eggplant Parmigiana stuffed with provolone cheese and topped with a smoked tomato cream sauce
•Italian chicken club sandwich. Grilled chicken breast with crispy pancetta, sliced tomatoes, smoked provolone and spicy red pepper mayo on grilled focaccia bread.
•Baked 3-cheese rotini (Parmigiano, Asiago & Mozzarella) topped with an herbed breadcumb crust
